What is Hockey Scoro?

  • PAL’s insured Hockey Contests are designed to get your fans on their feet and engaged, and it’s the perfect promotional contest to generate buzz on ice and in the stands.
  • Hockey Scoro Contests are PAL’s most popular contest, in which a randomly selected participant(s) will have the chance to shoot a puck from the far blue line (114 Feet) into a target opening (3.5 inches by 1.5 inches) for a chance to win a grand prize.
  • Designed for Individuals, Companies, Sponsors, Hockey Clubs, Arenas etc. who are looking for a great promotional opportunity!
  • Premiums start as low as $113.00.
  • Our online application offers automatic rates for prize values up to $50,000.00 and is available for individual one-off contests, contests on a seasonal basis, or contests on a scheduled basis.
  • Higher prize values up to $1,000,000.00 are available upon request (*please submit a manual application for underwriting)
  • All claims under $50,000.00 are paid within 30 days.

PAL Hockey Scoro Template Boards

  • In response to popular demand, PAL has created a Hockey Scoro Template Board for use in your Hockey Scoro contests!
  • PAL's Hockey Scoro Template Boards are made of a lightweight, solid and durable Komacel board (a .75” thick solid PVC product).
  • Randomly selected participants have one attempt to shoot a hockey puck at your PAL Template Board from the Far Blue line (PAL Must be notified of each contest).

Why Purchase a PAL Template Board?

  • Hole sizes are regulation-contest size and approved by PAL.
  • The board will come with our standard design (as shown above) and you will have the opportunity to add a Logo of your choice. Certain Template Board images can also be custom-designed to best serve your objectives. Additional designing fees could apply with any custom-designs.
  • For your convenience the Board will be shipped directly to you and will easily be on hand for upcoming games. It can be used for any new online Hockey Scoro submission for future contests.
  • Great for individual games, full-season games and playoffs!
  • Template Boards are $400 including shipping, or FREE if the policy premium is greater than $2000. 
  • Great investment for future contests and promotions!

One Contest Option Available

  • 1 option available: Shoot from the Far Blue Line (114 feet)
  • 1 template hole opening; middle hole (Two side holes MUST be covered with the cover template supplied with the boards) or 3 template hole opening
    • Middle hole = 100% of prize value
    • Two side holes 5% of prize value (Additional Premium will apply)

For all other general Prize Indemnity and Hockey Contests

  • Golden Goal (home team scores at a specific time shown on the scoreboard)
  • Rapid Fire (attempt to shoot 20 pucks in 20 seconds (one at a time) into open net from centre ice), etc.
